Yuletide 2019 Letter

Thank you so much for participating this year. I look forward to reading what you write for me. :-)
Here are some of my preferences as a reader:
- MSlash as opposed to straight with regard to romance (there are a few exceptions)
- Hurt and comfort (if there is hurt, I need the comfort)
- Hurt or angst that ends with fluff
- Humor
- Crack (treated seriously is the preference)
- Tragic backstories with comfort from a significant other or close friend, and healing, or on the road to healing
Triggers, etc. - I will not read stories with these in them:
- Prison (this is a trigger)
- Genderswap (not to be confused with transgender characters - I embrace transgender characters; I just cannot read genderswap stories)
- Graphic sex (I skip over sex scenes in the gay romance stories and novels that I read)
- 2nd or 1st person point of view
- Death fics (this is a trigger)
Here are some story prompts/ideas for each fandom that I have selected:
Single Parents:
I like the idea of Will and Douglas together, though I know not everyone is on par with that. I think it could work, and I like the chemistry between these two characters. An enemy to friends to lovers kind of story would be nice.
I would also be very happy with a story that pairs Will with Angie and Poppy with Douglas. Maybe they could go on a double-date (it would be Will's idea) and do something silly that gets a little out of control as things tend to do on the show.
Having the kids get together and orchestrate something for the sake of their clueless parents, bringing them together in spite of themselves would work well for a Will and Douglas, or a Will and Angie story (imho). I would be happy with either one. Or the kids could bring Poppy and Douglas together as well.
Dream Daddy:
I like the idea of Dadsona (maybe a name like Charles or James) and Craig getting married and raising Craig's kids together - a domestic fluff piece with Robert thrown in as an honorary 'uncle' and of course Amanda visiting home from college. A kind of day in the life, or a series of life events - kind of like life scenes - the lives of Dadsona and Craig.
I also like the idea of a poly-amorous or polyamory involving Dadsona and Craig as the main pairing with the two of them bringing Robert into their loving relationship and creating a balance through the threesome.
I am not looking for sexy times for this fandom, though seeing the dads engage in kissing or mentioning sex, especially if you do decide to write Dadsona, Craig and Robert finally coming together in an open threesome, is okay. I do prefer more of an emotional relationship (I hope that makes sense).
Coming Out on Top:
I would love a story that goes into the everyday of Mark and Ian developing a relationship that goes beyond kinky sex. A day in the life kind of story.
I also think that something involving the fish would be cool. Maybe a new plot is afoot - an overtaking of the world and both Mark and Ian are caught up in this fish's mind control trap.
Having both Ian and Mark go on dates together to find their third is also something I would be interested in reading.
Something completely schmoopy involving Ian and Mark (and Penny, we can't forget Penny) adopting a child, or raising a kid together, or even just growing old together. Maybe a scene with their grandchildren (through adopted children) where they tell the story of how they got together (edited for the grand kids, but not for the readers).
Lost Boys:
I would really like a story involving Michael and David together. There doesn't have to be sex, but maybe an argument turns into an angry kiss, turns into actual kissing and perhaps something heavier.
I also like the idea of an alternative ending where the Emersons become part of the vampire family, and Michael and David have that angsty kind of hate-love relationship that eventually culminates in the two of them becoming a couple (I think that there are blurred lines in vampire families).
Buzzfeed Worth It:
Episode tag for "$3.50 Soup vs. $29 Soup Taiwan" - body pillow, with an explanation for why Steven needs the pillow, maybe with Adam or Inga chiming in. Perhaps even a little exploration of off-screen cuddling (if that's something you are comfortable writing). Maybe Steven explores why Andrew's comfort plushie (stuffed animal) is in his parent's attic. Something fun with this episode. Tossing in some random fact about stuffed animals, or body pillows, would be fun.
Other episode tags focusing on something small that demands more attention because it kind of gets glossed over in the episode.
I am not sure how I feel about pairing these two together as they are not characters, but hosts, but if that is something that you think would work and would like to explore, I would be cool with that.
Adding Adam or Inga into any story would be a bonus.
Clue:
Mrs. Peacock and Mrs. White going from enemies to lovers. I just like their chemistry, and their opposite natures - the concept of opposites attracting.
A scene within the movie where they are caught together in some dark corner of the house by one of the guys, or by Yvette, who kind of watches (voyeur-like) might be fun.
Having the two become best friends, and lovers, after they leave the mansion would be cool too. Seeing what they get up to as they think back on their ordeal.
Have one give an alibi for another when another murder is committed...
